Mapbox costs & free tier

Store Locator requires a separate Mapbox account. Mapbox provides a generous free plan but a separate subscription may be required.

Free Tier

Store Locator uses two of the Mapbox APIs: Mapbox GLJS for showing a map and the Temporary Geocoding API for address search. 

The free tier provides:

  • 50,000 monthly map loads
  • 100,000 address searches. 

If your go beyond those limits map loads are $5 per thousand loads, and searches are $0.75 per thousand loads. Further volume discounts are available.
